It all began during a photography course at St. Francis College. Steve bought his first professional camera for class and began taking photos of everything! He quickly realized that seeing the world through a viewfinder was much preferable to spending time in the lab developing film. Yes…Film! Obviously more than a few things have changed since the business was started in 2001, but Steve continues to refine his skills and professional development. He is very proud to have photographed nearly 300 weddings in addition to almost a thousand family and senior portraits.

When it comes to posing groups, fixing hair and arranging flowers, Steve’s wife and high school sweetheart Sara does not miss a beat. She attends every wedding to assist in keeping everyone on time and ease wedding day jitters with her outgoing personality. In addition to her attention to detail, Sara is also the second photographer on the wedding day. She quietly shoots candid images of the ladies just minutes before the ceremony, or captures unbelievable shots of the proud father and nervous bride as they head down the aisle.

In 2005, they moved themselves and the business to Leo and transformed a building on the property into an impressive photography studio (see more details on our studio page). As each year passes, they add more unique items to the landscaping, and revamp inside backdrops as well to stay current.

Steve and Sara are big believers in giving back to the community. They are involved with the Active 20/30 Club, Bishop Dwenger Saints Alive, and various other local organizations. Their heart for the golden rule of service and dedication to clients makes them one of the most successful husband and wife teams in the greater Fort Wayne area. This is confirmed by the amazing number of referrals and repeat business they get. Steve and Sara share their home with Winfield, a friendly and energetic cat and Harrison, a black lab/German shepherd mutt that loves to swim in the pond and, unfortunately, bark at customers as well as Norm the UPS driver.
